Making history for the Kingdom

It's the 50 interns' last week... crazy!

It's been incredible to watch all the Lord has done in and through them. At our gala last night, we passed around a microphone for anyone who wanted to share how God had worked this summer. We expected a few comments, but no kidding it lasted at least an hour! Story after story testified to God's faithfulness, and it was such a powerful reminder that what happened this summer will have an eternal impact.

My co-worker said it best: They aren't just making history for OneWay, but making history for the Kingdom!

God has been providing too! We've raised $280,316 of our $350,000 goal, leaving only 20% to go! That is WILD! Praise the Lord with me!

And now, this is where your development girl is going to make an incredibly appealing, hard-to-resist pitch! But first, let's just consider the facts.

This summer's interns have:

• Created hundreds of prayer videos that will inspire MILLIONS to pray for the nations. And we know that when people pray, God moves.

• Recruited HUNDREDS of believers to pray strategically for the hardest-to-reach places in the world. I will also say, this project in particular has received the most spiritual warfare this summer... a testament to this work being ground-breaking for the Kingdom that the enemy will stop at nothing to thwart. 

• Produced stories and videos that will help fund the missionaries who are bringing the gospel to HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS who have never heard.

Another fact? The Bible says we can store up our treasures in heaven when we place our treasure in the things of heaven...

I'm no mathematician, but if my calculations are correct, investing in an intern = LOTS OF TREASURE IN HEAVEN!
